Overview
Blair really put together a nice solo with this high ranking DCI I&E number. The title, inspired by both the venue where it was performed and for how he created it, was a clever way of summing up this beat-filled, groove-oriented solo. See for yourself!
Hear that 5/4 ostinato in there? Sound familiar? Blair's a Tool fan (who's not?) and after listening to "The Grudge" on Lateralus several times he decided to give them a nod with that pattern which appears several times throughout the solo.
Get your chops ready and put your drumming (and thinking) hat on, with insane time signatures like 17/16, 8th note fivelets, and some fast beefy flam sections you'll have fun learning this and showing it off to your friends.
