Overview

Pandora's Box, originally written for Leigh High School in San Jose, California, is a fun and challenging piece. The music is exciting and meant to give the feeling of unleashing chaos! It would fit well with many show designs dealing with but not limited to: Mystery, War, Titans, Gods, Adventure, and the Dark Side of Nature. The music was also designed to provide plenty of opportunities for visual embellishments. Want to see it in action? Check out this link (the feature starts at about 7:05).

While Pandora's Box was originally written to be a percussion feature for a marching band show, you're welcome to integrate it with any performance/program you see fit -- you could treat it as a ensemble piece for a school concert, or it could be a movement in your winter percussion show, or you could use it as originally intended in a marching band show.

Worried another group in your circuit will be playing this too? Don't be! We offer circuit exclusivity as part of our performance license agreements so as long as you're an active licence holder for this piece you can reserve it for the circuits/competitions that you'll be taking part in.
